Op woensdagavond treden er van 19:30-23:00 drie fantastische bands op in Scum

The Big Beyond
The Big Beyond. Een band met jongeren uit Katwijk en omstreken die veel motivatie hebben om covers en eigen nummers te spelen. In 2016 zijn Roos, Nick & Jaap beginnen met de band. Begin 2018 kwamen Noël en Jair erbij. The Big Beyond is een band met karakters en ervaringen van alle soorten en maten. De band heeft een goed gevuld repertoire van verschillende artiesten, zoals The Script, U2, Coldplay, Amy Whinehouse, etc. Ook speelt The Big Beyond zelfgeschreven nummers. Tot nu toe heeft deze band vooral gespeeld in Katwijk en omstreken, maar willen graag uitbreiden naar grotere podia in de rest van Nederland. Kijk op hun Facebook pagina voor meer informatie.

Batwölf
Uit de as van bands als Black Volvo en The Rudolfs is een tijd geleden Batwölf verrezen. Het resultaat is dikke punkrock-‘n-roll, korte nummers, teksten over duivels, zware stemmen, zware shag en heavy gitaren. Spelen, spelen, spelen!’ is het motto, punkrock ‘n’ roll met een positieve vibe is het genre. Batwölf is sinds juli 2017 officieel een band waar rekening mee gehouden moet worden in de punk scene in Nederland en daarbuiten.  The Peterlees
Punkrock, hardcore, rock & roll? One thing is certain, The Peterlees deliver 100% pure fucking energy! We got together in 2012,approximately nine months after your mother went to a Tom Jones concert, inspired by bands such as The Bronx, Cancer Bats, Zeke and many other.

Right from the start we only had one mission; play as hard as we can and do it as much as possible. We played many gigs all aroundHolland and a couple in the UK in that first year. Early 2014, The Peterlees won the local ‘Live & Lazarus’ bandbattle. Later that year we shined bright like a diamond during the semi-finals of the ‘grote prijs van NL’, which is the biggest bandcontest of Holland, performing on a national level. In that same year our 5-song debut EP was released under the name P T R L S, and the video of Luckiest Man Alive went viral. We have big plans for the future and will continue to deliver our promise.
